...Good Lord, this was absolutely bloody brilliant.<br /><br />It has been quite some time since I have read a short piece that has engaged me so profoundly: the use of imagery and the internal monologues (especially on behalf of Cissy) really drew me in and kept me reading. An avid reader, I find myself constantly visualizing the scenarios and settings a story's characters find themselves in; thus I become extremely annoyed when there is a lack of sufficient imagery to aid me in this process. Needless to say, I had no problems whatsoever while reading this. <br /><br />Bravo, Mr. Bell! This is the first creative piece I have encountered on this blog, and I am now absolutely certain that I will continue to read it. Kudos!<br /><br />-AJA.J.
